About Sand Dollar Ranch

How do you best describe Sand Dollar Ranch Longhorns? Well… Judges, other breeders, and show ring exhibitors use phrases such as Grand Champion, dependable, predictable, herd and breed changing. Predictable and proven genetics are the foundation of Sand Dollar cattle.

Sand Dollar Ranch was established in 1993 with two very clear goals: to preserve the Texas Longhorn breed that has meant so much to the American beef industry and our Western Heritage, and to produce the best Texas Longhorn cattle possible.

The Chase family and Sand Dollar Ranch have been successful in reaching both goals. Sand Dollar Ranch cattle have set the industry standard for breeding, raising and showing champion Texas Longhorns. Detailed selection and focused management, combined with progressive genetics were the building blocks of a breeding program that led to being honored as the 2003 Texas Longhorn Breeders of the Year. Sand Dollar Ranch cattle have won numerous Grand Championships throughout the years. Sand Dollar Ranch was named World Show Premier Exhibitor by the Texas Longhorn Breeders Association of America a record nine years in a row. Sand Dollar Ranch genetics are the in-demand cattle due to their genetic predictability, show ring and pasture performance, calving ease, tender lean beef and longevity.

Multiple champions have roamed the pastures at Sand Dollar Ranch. However, the true pride of Sand Dollar Ranch is providing other breeders with the right genetics to reach their individual goals. Whether you are looking for your next banner winner, that perfect cow to complement your herd or a herd sire to take your program to the next level, we are always available to help breeders select the right animal for their program. We are most proud when youth find success in the show ring exhibiting Sand Dollar Ranch genetics.

Believing that young people are the future of our country, the Chases are the founders of the Autobahn Motorcar Group Youth Scholarship Tour. This program provides college money for students by awarding $450,000 in scholarships at the yearly Diann Chase Longhorn Scholarship Expo. Additionally, the Chases are staunch supporters of Tarrant county Big Brothers and Big Sisters, as well as a number of other organizations benefiting underprivileged youth.

Sand Dollar Ranch is easily accessible and we love visitors. When you are ready to start down the path to championship banners, or add top quality to your herd, we invite you to contact us at (940) 567-3343.
